Owner and creator of Team Elite Boxing. Coach Pete Soumilas has developed a vision for boxing and training that is unmatched in the industry. With over 8 years of coaching and 25 years of boxing and combat sport experience, Pete coaches all levels from competitive fighters, to individuals with no boxing experience.

As a coach, Pete is renowned for his ability to inspire and motivate his fighters. He believes in building strong relationships with his athletes, understanding their individual strengths and weaknesses and tailoring training programs to suit their specific needs. Pete is known for his attention to detail, ensuring that his fighters develop impeccable technique, footwork, and defensive skills.

BOXING CLASSES

Boxing doesn’t have to be Daunting!

Every aspect of boxing technique is covered in these classes: footwork, head movement, punching mechanics, counters, combinations and more. Training methods used include shadow boxing, sparring, mitt work, bag work and combination drills. Suitable for all skill levels - beginner to advanced.

While group training is common in boxing classes, we have the ability to provide individual attention and feedback to participants. This can include observing and correcting technique, addressing specific questions or concerns, and tailoring exercises to accommodate different skill levels and abilities.

Safety should be a top priority in any boxing class. We emphasize proper protective equipment (hand wraps, gloves, mouthguards), teach correct punching techniques to reduce the risk of injury, and ensure a safe training environment. We monitor participants closely during sparring sessions and provide guidelines for responsible and controlled contact.
